Brenham Library Workshops Spring 2025

Below are the offerings for the current semester with a short description. Workshops do not require advanced sign up, but seating is limited. All sessions are available by request of 5 students or more. Please make request 10 calendar days in advance by emailing library2@blinn.edu.

The 6 Ws : Think Google is the only thing needed for research? Come to the library and get hands on experience in evaluating information, lateral reading, and determining where web resources fit in to the research process. Walk away with new skills to help you evaluate the information you see daily.

Ethical(ish)? : Are you using the information you find ethically? Come to the library and learn about strategies to avoid scholastic dishonesty (plagiarism) and resources to help properly cite resources. Walk away with the skills to be a good digital citizen and information user.
