From 1998 to 2018, Bio-Link has been the Next Generation National Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Center of Excellence for Biotechnology and Life Sciences. The National Science Foundation's ATE program was created to improve and expand educational programs that prepare skilled technicians to work in the high-tech fields that drive the U.S. economy. Bio-Link enhances biotechnology education programs by providing cutting edge professional development for instructors, by improving curriculum, by making use of technologies, and by creating a system for sharing information. Bio-Link.org continues to support a cadre of well-trained instructors and is helping to increase the number and quality of biotechnology education programs. Bio-Link.org members help introduce a wide range of underrepresented students to biotechnology, by helping them acquire the knowledge and skills essential to the field and advance their education in math, science, and engineering.
Biotechnology - Khan Academy
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing
The National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (NCTM) is an interdisciplinary workforce education and research center serving the global biopharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing industries. A member of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, the NCTM develops and delivers customizable instructor-led, computer-based, and hands-on learning to expose the student to various aspects of cell culture and basic molecular biology, aseptic processes and microbiology, upstream and downstream processing of biological materials including viruses, monoclonal antibodies and other recombinant proteins, as well as industrial bioanalytical methods.

Bio-protocol
Founded by Stanford researchers in 2010, Bio-protocol seeks to promote free and open communication within the life sciences community. To this end, all protocols are associated with a moderated Q&A panel. These Q&A panels help readers successfully reproduce protocols by letting them easily ask authors clarifying questions.

Protocol Exchange
The Protocol Exchange is an open repository for sharing scientific research protocols. These protocols are posted directly on the Protocol Exchange by authors and are made freely available to the scientific community for use and comment. This site strives to facilitate rapid and unencumbered distribution of protocols for scientific research. Although we welcome protocols from any branch of science, we focus particularly on protocols being used to answer outstanding biological and biomedical science research questions, including methods grounded in physics and chemistry with a practical application to the study of biological problems.
