Digital Citizenship Definition

Dictionary.com defines digital citizenship as "a person who develops the skills and knowledge to effectively use the internet and other digital technology, especially in order to participate responsibly in social and civic activities".  Students need to have these skills in order to better participate in college and in society. 

Netiquette

The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language defines netiquette as "Etiquette practiced or advocated in electronic communication over a computer network."  Practicing good netiquette is important, especially in an online class.
