Distance Learning/Remote Access Resources

Discovery Service - SABER

SABER allows users to search nearly all of the library's resources at once, but it does not contain everything! If you need help searching contact us here -  Ask a Librarian. This search does not open in a new window, please be sure to open this page in a new tab before searching so you can get back to it!

General databases: a good place to start

Articles from databases will be one of your primary research tools in finding information on your topics. Several databases will be helpful in locating articles for your general essays and your final research paper.

Books

Students can search for books using the library catalog or directly through our ebook databases. Books available through the library catalog can be requested online or by emailing or calling the library.

Special Pickup Instructions

Distance Education students may designate another person to pick up library materials they have requested online if they are unable to do so. The request must be made either in person or by sending an email from your Blinn student email account to library@blinn.edu. This email must include your name and the name of the person designated to pick up the materials. When the person comes to the library, they must have a valid picture ID with them.

Books can be renewed online or by emailing or calling the library.

Online Databases

The library subscribes to many databases that provide citations and often full-text documents from magazines, newspapers and journals.
