Access to the Fire Science online classes and course material is available through eCampus.
eCampus is a Web-based course management and collaboration portal that enables educators to manage course materials and to communicate with students. With eCampus, you can take surveys, quizzes, and tests; send and receive course mail; post messages to threaded discussions and chat rooms; upload assignments using online drop boxes; and more.
You can check your progress and grades at any time during a course. You can also create groups and teams for project or committee work.
To access your class materials and courses, you will need your username and password.
Your Username is your 6-digit Blinn College identification number.
Your Password is your Birthdate yyyymmdd.

- BFRL - Research Information Service Originally known as the Fire Research Information Service (FRIS), BFRL is a resource center which provides material on any fire research related subject. There are links to Fire Research Resources, Building Research Resources, BFRL Publications, and Recently Released Publications.
- Congressional Fire Services Institute CFSI is a non-profit, non-partisan policy institute whose mission is to educate and lobby Congress and the Senate on issues of importance to Fire Service and EMS personnel. This website supplies information on legislative alerts, upcoming events sponsored by CFSI, and trade shows of interest to Fire Service and EMS personnel.
- Federal Emergency Management Agency - National Incident Management System Integration Center Developed by the Department of Homeland Security in conjunction with FEMA, so first responders from various jurisdictions and services can work together better to respond to natural disasters and emergencies, including acts of terrorism. Includes a list of frequently asked questions, smart practices & lessons learned, and tools and templates for how to respond to a major emergency.
- Fire Protection Publications & International Fire Training Administration Established in 1934 and sponsored by Oklahoma State University, the FPP/IFSTA's mission is to identify areas of areas of need for training materials for Fire Service personnel. They are dedicated to upgrading fire fighting safety and techniques through training. Included on this site is a catalog for materials that can be purchased, the FPP Library and Archives, a quarterly newsletter, and other useful information.
- National Wildfire Coordinating Group A federal operational group coordinating the programs of participating wildfire management agencies.
- The 7 Signs of Terrorism Developed by the University of Nevada Las Vegas [UNLV] in conjunction with local and state law enforcement officials and the Department of Homeland Security's Nevada office. This video outlines the seven warning signs that indicate a terrorist attack might be eminent.
- Texas Department of Insurance, State Fire Marshal's Office Produced by the Department of Insurance, this website provides information on arson, inspections, licensing, specific information for firefighters, and fire prevention information.
- Texas Forest Service - Wildland Fire and Emergency Response Created in 1915 by the 34th Legislature as an integral part of the Texas A&M University System, this agency is mandated by law to "assume direction of all forest interests and all matters pertaining to forestry within the jurisdiction of the state." The Wildland Fire and Emergency Response division's mission is to prevent, mitigate and efficiently suppress wildland fire to protect lives, improved property and the state's natural resources.
- U.S. Fire Administration The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA), under FEMA, includes links to sections on Education and Training, Firefighter Fatalities, Alerts & Advisories, Grants & Funding, Incident Reporting (NFIRS), Fire Department Census, and Research Projects. The web site also includes a "News and Features" section as well as valuable information on other Fire Service topics of interest.

Forest Service - Fire and Aviation Management An agency under the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Fire and Aviation Management works to advance technologies in fire management and suppression, maintain and improve the extremely efficient mobilization and tracking systems in place, and reach out in support of our Federal, State, and International fire partners. - International Fire Service Acceditation Congress IFSAC is a peer driven, self governing system that accredits both fire service certification programs and higher education fire-related degree programs. IFSAC is a nonprofit organization authorized by the Board of Regents of Oklahoma State University as a part of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology.
- National Fire Protection Association Established in 1896, NFPA, an internationals nonprofit membership organization, serves as world's leading advocate of fire prevention and is an authoritative source on public safety. NFPA's 300 codes and standards influence every building, process, service, design and installation in the United States. NFPA's mission is reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life.
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians America's national EMT certifying agency, was created in the 1970s to provide certification for those who provide emergency medical services. The website which has a login section for members and actively encourages professionalism in Emergency Medical Services. It also has links to certification tests and related examinations, annual reports, policies, information on education programs and links to other useful resources websites for promotion and study of the discipline.
